Όλο το Κίνγκστον χορεύει στα υπαίθρια πάρτι που συστρέφονται γύρω από χειροποιήτα soundsystem. Οι Τζαμαϊκανοι δεν αρκούνται στην εισαγόμενη μουσική, ηχογραφούν τις δικές τους εκδόσεις των ξένων χιτ της εποχής. Καλλιτέχνες όπως ο Prince Buster, Coxsone Dodd και Derrick Morgan μεσούρανουν. Tο πιασάρικο, χαρούμενο beat της ska φτάνει μάλιστα ως τη Μεγάλη Βρετανία, οπού μετανάστες Τζαμαϊκανοι αλλα και Άγγλοι το απογειώνουν στα chart από οπού, μερικά χρόνια αργότερα, θα θρέψει το επόμενο και πιο γνώστο κύμα της ska, εκπροσωπόμενο από σχήματα πλέον πασίγνωστα, οπώς Madness και The Specials.
Όμως ο Prince Buster όντως την ψιλοβλέπει θεός, και αποφασίζει μαλιστα ως τετοιός να μοιράσει και εκείνος τις δέκα του εντόλες, ως άντρας θεός προς το πιστό του ποίμνιο, τις γυναίκες.

Και έτσι θα πρέπει να τα περιέργαστουμε, με τα μάτια εκείνης της επόχης, προ #metoo και α,μπα.
Ή ίσως όχι;
Η ύβρις του θεού και πρίγκηπα της rocksteady ξίνισε σίγουρα πόλλες. Δεν θα ξερούμε ποτέ πόσες, παντώς σίγουρα μία: την Princess Buster.
Η εν λόγω πριγκίπισσα, την ταυτότητα της οποίας δεν γνωρίζουμε με σιγουριά (φημολογείται -μεταξύ άλλων- πως πρόκειται για την αδερφή του ανταγωνιστή του Prince Buster, Derrick Morgan) χρησιμοποίησε αυτό το ξεκάθαρο ψευδώνυμο για να δημοσιοποιήσει την επίσης ξεκάθαρη της απάντηση στο ματσό άσμα που ακούσαμε πιό πάνω. Με πολύ τεμπέραμεντο η αγαπήτη πριγκίπισσα ανταπέδωσε με τις δικές της εντολές:

Τους οποίους θεωρώ προσωπικά μια πολύ ταιριαστή απαντήση : )
Αυτή η ‘κόντρα’ λοιπόν είναι ένα από τα αγαπημένα μου μουσικά ‘κουτσομπολιά’, που σας παραθέτω εδώ. Κουτσομπολιό λέω και το εννοώ, αφού δεν μπορούμε να διασταυρώσουμε την ταυτότητα της Princess (μάλιστα διάβασα σε κάποια σχόλια πως η εν λόγω πριγκίπισσα είναι ο ίδιος ο Prince Buster με επεξεργασμένη, high pitched φωνή, μια ύποθεση που προσώπικα δεν αξιολoγώ ως λογική, αλλά ποιός ξέρει;)
